Support!

In the United States, Black or African American individuals are significantly overrepresented in the homeless population. While they make up approximately 13% of the total U.S. population, they account for nearly 40% of those experiencing homelessness. These disparities are rooted in historical and systemic inequalities that continue to impact Black communities today. Hunger and homelessness are not individual failures—they are structural issues that require intentional, community-driven solutions.

Homelessness and food insecurity are solvable problems, yet they have not been treated as priorities at the governmental level. Coggins Feed the People Program is committed to making them a priority. At a minimum, our team will enter the city of Atlanta twice per month to distribute hundreds of meals, hygiene items, and essential supplies to those in need.

This initiative is built on partnership, accountability, and direct action. Every donation goes directly toward feeding people and meeting immediate needs. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, or partner with us, your support helps restore dignity, stability, and hope to individuals who need it most.

If you are interested in donating, volunteering, or supporting this initiative in any way, please feel free to contact me directly. Together, we can feed the people and strengthen our community.
